Singapore Buyers

Local standard shipping is always FREE. We ship your package out within 48 hours upon receipt of payment. *Registered mail service is S$2.80 additional - this service arrives at your doorstep and must be signed for when received. Please allow both options 2-3 days for package to arrive.

Local bank transfer by POSB/DBS is the preferred mode of payment. If you are using other local banks (OCBC/UOB) to transfer, please inform us accordingly as the remittance will take 2-3 working days to fall through.

~ PayPal for local transactions is accepted only for total exceeding S$60.00 and above.~

Overseas Buyers

PayPal is accepted for overseas transactions. (Please reconfirm shipping to your destination) At the moment, we ship your items only with *registered airmail. Please allow 7-20 working days for package to arrive, depending on your country's custom clearance efficiency.

The shipping & handling fee is S$5.00 nett per package of not more than 4 items. Each additional item requires a top up of S$1.00 shipping.  Please use this CONVERTER for estimated amount in your currency.

Jewelry Care

Regardless of silver quality, your jewelries will oxidise very quickly if left exposed for too long.

Here's a few tips you can try to slow down the oxidisation process :

1) Keep your jewelries clean. After each use, wipe with a tissue paper or soft cloth.

2) Store your jewelries in the small plastic storage bag provided with your purchase or in your jewelry box.

3) Polish pure or 925 silver items with a special cloth meant for that purpose. It can be purchased at any jewelry supply store or DIY shops. DO NOT use this type of cloth on silver or gold plated materials.

4) Avoid using soaps, detergents, powder, moisturizers and perfume directly onto the jewelry.

Adeline's Loft jewelries are delicately handmade. Please do not tug on them.

Jewelry Service

Do you own a jewelry from my past handmade collections? If you feel its a little outdated in style, I can provide a makeover service of your jewelry if it is an original handmade by me!

You can choose to replace only the silver/gold plated materials and keep the design or revamp the look of the design but keep the same beads you love! (or maybe throw in a few new ones for a total makeover!)

All these can be done with a minimal fee from S$2.00 onwards.

(We now carry our own handmade earwires!)

You would need to take a photo of the jewelry concerned and email it to me so that I can advise you the actual fee before you decide to go ahead with this service.

Postage to send the item to me will be borne by you. Sending it back to you is FREE*! *Only local standard postage applicable. For overseas postage, please bear S$5.00 shipping and handling fee.

Store Policies

Here is how we process your orders :

When purchasing a ready made jewelry, simply quote the product's name and send an email to : adeline@adessentials.sg A confirmation will be processed and sent to you within 24 hours. Shipments are made within 48 hours after receipt of payment.

I will ensure the items you've ordered are in good condition before sending it out and your mailing details are correctly addressed on the package.

*Please be reminded that local standard shipping is at the buyers' risk. Once the package is mailed, I will no longer have control over the shipment status. If you are concerned, please use trackable registered mail service at additional cost.*

*We only use registered airmail for overseas shipping. Please reconfirm with us your destination.*

We would appreciate if buyers could keep us informed when the package is received in good order.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

I will agree to exchange or refund your purchase if you have received damaged goods in the mail. Please let me know within 2 days upon your receipt so that I can arrange for a suitable measure (minus shipping fees) - at my discretion. Once replaced, I will send the items back to you at no extra charge via standard postage.* (*applicable to purchases within Singapore only) For returns made outside Singapore, you will be required to absorb a return shipping fee of S$5.00 nett.

All buyers are encouraged to enquire about the item you are interested in before you fully commit to your purchases. If for any reason, you do not think the item you receive is suitable, please write in to me within 2 days upon receipt and we will see how best to arrange from there on a case by case basis. Shipping fees WILL NOT be refunded.

Packaging

Items are bundled and wrapped in a presentable package. We will further bubble-wrap it to prevent damage during shipping.

On circumstances where there are fragile beads involved, we will use our discretion to place your item into a recycled plastic container.

We also provide individual gift wrapping upon request.

I specialize in customizations for almost anybody and for any occasion. Just send in your request and I'll let you know if I can accommodate!

Terms & Conditions :

If you have a special request for certain beads/parts which I do not carry, making a trip to town to my supplier to purchase may also carry a minimal surcharge.

First 3 mock ups per design is complimentary.  After which I will require a minimum non-refundable fee of S$10* per item if necessary, to continue working upto 3 more mock ups.  *This fee will be used to offset the total.*

Once the designs are confirmed, I will only proceed to complete your orders upon a minimum of 50% deposit or receipt of full payment.

The Artist

My Creative Journey

I picked up an interest in jewelry making after attending a 2 hour introduction workshop in December 2004. Excited about my new found interest, my family and friends were the exclusive owners of my creations.

In January 2005, I started selling my creations on the now defunct Yahoo auction, just to see where the market stood. After 4 months of perseverance, there was finally a break through! A lot of time were spent investing and promoting my creations in the cyber world. Eventually, I built a website to showcase my crafts and everything else just fell into place.

My work has evolved a lot since then. From working solely with swarovski crystals and pearls, to semi-precious stones and high quality components that are sourced locally and world-wide. After almost 2 years of searching for my niche and identity as an artist, I discovered that I had a better flair for avant garde designs which is portrayed more in my long necklace creations. As I also love variety in my life, you will also find a variety of styles in my creations too! ... That's what I love to do.

In Jan 2007, I picked up polymer clay bead making skill that is now an added feature in many of my unique creations. A separate blog shop was set up in March 2007 to sell my handmade beads to other local and international crafters who enjoy incorporating them into their creations. It was an extremely successful setup however, by mid 2008, the fad for clay beads fizzled out and I decided to close the clay bead blog to focus on my jewelries again.

In early 2010, I picked up a new skill - making my own ear wire designs. I am loving every bit of creating unique ear wire shapes and especially since its handmade, it is considered very exclusive to the owner as well! It also adds a lot more versatility and interesting-ness when matching the different beads to different shaped ear wires.

In June 2010, I finally spread my wings and started a shop in etsy, selling only my handmade polymer clay creations.

As a stay-at-home-mom, it is a challenge to fit into the many roles that demands of me. However, I will always make time and commit to my passion which gives me immense joy and a great sense of satisfaction after every accomplished creation.

I can never be thankful enough for my family and friends who have supported my passion in one way or another. Especially my husband, who believes in what I do. I am also very grateful for the new friends I've made in the course of my creative journey that made a difference in my life.

On the note of selling my creations at affordable prices, I will only say that the small profits are good enough for me to invest in more materials so that I can share more creations with you!

I have started this as a hobby and is still very much the same till now. It is why my personal vision is for others to enjoy the value-for-money I offer in my creations and appreciate the fruits of my labor.
